Eaton Air Compressor Products versus Kaeser

As a large presence in Florida’s air compressor industry, Compressed Air Systems has seen and serviced almost every make and model out there. However, we recognize that it’s difficult to navigate the industry and figure out just what brand is best for your application. To help you make an informed decision, we offer our knowledge on multiple aspects of Eaton air compressor products.

  • Location – Unlike Kaeser, which is available throughout the state of Florida from Compressed Air Systems and outside of Florida from their many distributors, Eaton air compressors have no local distributors. In fact, you cannot even buy parts from a local dealer; you must buy direct from Eaton, meaning there is no competition for the lowest price, and because they ship from Ohio, the wait time is significantly increased as well.
  • Certification – Truly an innovator in the industry, Kaeser strives to provide the very best performance and reliability. To this end, they are currently participating in the CAGI (Compressed Air and Gas Institute) Performance Verification Program, designed to test and verify the performance of their compressors. In contrast, the Eaton air compressor company is not registered with the Compressed Air and Gas Institute, and they are not participating in this third-party performance verification.
  • Size - Globally recognized as leaders in the industry, Kaeser has factories across the world to bring you better products, faster. Able to buy in bulk and therefore get better prices on basic materials, Kaeser can offer more for your money, in addition to designs and techniques they offer products backed by decades of experience. The Eaton air compressor company is located in Ohio and has a single factory, with another under construction. And, because you can only buy direct, you must have your compressor shipped from this factory, presumably without ever having seen a sample model.

Although these are just a few aspects to consider when shopping for a compressor, they are extremely important to understand if you want to get the most quality for your money. For more information on an Eaton air compressor and comparable Kaeser models, call or e-mail Compressed Air Systems today.
